Why did my account have a Regulatory Fee Adjustment?

Adjustments are made at the end of each week

If you're somebody that likes to look at their receipt after you purchase something to make sure you were probably charged, then you probably noticed a cash transfer line item titled "Regulatory Fee Adjustment" appear in your History tab at the end of each week. Adjustments made to your account can be a debit or a credit.

When there is trading activity, fee adjustments are applied on a weekly basis to make up for the rounding of fees that are reconciled at the end of the week. Below is an example of what a Regulatory Fee Adjustment looks like on in the History tab of the desktop platform.
